How to Add Google Analytics (GA4) & Google Tag to Your Website in 2 Minutes
Quick answerIn the editor open “SEO & Tags”, paste your GA4 Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXX) – or the whole code from Google, we pick out the ID – and publish. Tracking runs only on your live website, not in the editor preview.
1. Get your Google Analytics 4 ID
- Go to analytics.google.com and create a property for your business.
- Add a Web data stream with your website address.
- Copy the Measurement ID – it looks like
G-AB12CD34EF.
2. Paste it in the builder
Editor → SEO & Tags → Google Analytics 4 (Google tag). You can paste only the ID or the full code snippet Google shows you. A green tick tells you the ID looks right. Changes save automatically.
Other tags you can add
- Google Tag Manager – paste the GTM-XXXXXXX ID.
- Google Ads conversion tag – paste the AW-XXXXXXXXX ID to measure ad results.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel – paste the numeric Pixel ID.
- Search Console verification – paste the google-site-verification code or the whole meta tag.
Why only IDs and not any script?
To keep every website on our platform safe and fast, we accept tag IDs and meta tags – not raw scripts. This blocks harmful code but still supports all the common Google and Meta tracking.
Check it works
Open your live website on your phone, then open Google Analytics → Reports → Realtime. You should see one active user within a minute.
Questions
Why don’t I see visits from the editor?
Tags run only on the published website, so your own editing does not count as visits.
